Global Head of Design AI & Technology

Design Technology & AI infrastructure for design practices. Built from the inside.

Most firms treat AI as a technology problem. It isn't. It's a practice problem. I build the tools, teams, and infrastructure that make it land, because understanding the business of architecture is what determines what to build, where to deploy it, and how to make it stick.

Benoy, London  ·  IAAC Barcelona  ·  NLA Expert Panel

Raised in Bombay. Studied Achitecture at AUB, in Bournemouth, UK. Then moved to Beijing, Barcelona, Hong Kong, London. Each city built a different layer.

In Beijing, worked as an Architectural Assistant and Designer across various practices, and co-founded De-facto, a small design collective experimenting with 3D printing and digital fabrication, applying architectural thinking to fashion, food, and installations.

In Barcelona, studied at IAAC (the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia), focusing on computational design, software and programming, and advanced fabrication.

In Hong Kong, worked first at Enzyme APD, then at UNStudio, across roles including Computational Designer, Architectural Designer, and Design Technology Specialist. That is where the shift happened: from architect who uses technology to technologist who understands architecture.

In London, joined Benoy as Head of Technology in 2022 and built the Design Technology function from scratch. BIM and computational design teams, infrastructure, sustainability tech, automation pipelines and custom tools, and then with IT, developed and scaled enterprise AI platforms now used across the practice globally.

Today: Global Head of Design AI & Technology, running AI strategy and delivery across Benoy's global studios, measuring commercial impact, building the infrastructure that makes adoption self-sustaining.

Serves on the NLA Expert Panel on Built Environment Technology. Collaborates with IAAC Barcelona.
